2012 Summer Institute for Educatinal Interpreters
July 22 - 25, 2012
Location: Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind,
St. Augustine
Each institute will have limited enrollment to promote effective instruction. Priority is given to interpreters employed by the school district. Those who are working in the district through a private agency will be allowed to attend if there is space. Non-school district employees will not be eligible for the financial stipend.
Housing will the responsibility of each participant. Special rates are available at the several hotels near the FSDB campus. More information is provided on the Lodging Information document. A stipend to help with housing costs will be given to participants, who are employed by a school district, traveling more than 50 miles one-way and staying in a hotel during the Institute.
Institute Hours:
Sunday (7/22): 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday (7/23) 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Tuesday (7/24) 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Wednesday (7/25) 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
